Drama and intrigue unfold at the Bradshaw's Devil's Perch Ranch, a turn-of-the-century farm on acres of cornfields over rolling hills. Nearby is Vickerton, a multi-national farming conglomerate that produces genetically modified corn seeds (GMOs).

It's a classic David and Goliath tale: Vickerton seeds have blown naturally onto the Bradshaw's fields and are growing in abundance. Vickerton is aggressively seeking payment for the crop even though the family has no contract with them. The issue takes center stage when Vickerton resorts to intimidation tactics, but the Bradshaw family must fight its own demons before it can battle Vickerton.
