Ed walks a mile in the Average Joe's workboots, and in this particular episode, those boots belong to a Brooklyn emergency room cleanup staff. First, it's the public bathroom, then it’s a delivery room and finally a morgue before he calls it quits and bails. Can you believe? The s**t Ed has to put up with? I don't think I have ever heard the s-word repeated so many times in the span of 30 minutes. Are we saying this on TV now? Let me rephrase that, are we saying this on OLN now? Then again, if I had to scrape human waste off a wall, my trucker mouth would be right up there with Ed's. High point: As disgusting as this episode was, full of discarded placenta and amputated feet, it's quite the eye-opener to learn how much a hospital cleaning staff really goes through on a regular basis! Ed ended up bailing but there are many employees that have no other choice but to stick it out and call it all in a day's work. I tip my hat to all of them. Low point: Okay what is with Ed’s hair-do? It seems to be some sort of attempt at a faux-hawk, but looks more like one of those cheesy front hair flips. I found myself mesmerized. Predictions: Well Ed is already in his second season of Ed’s Up and people love watching celebrities doing average stuff. Plus, I really like Robertson. He’s funny and comes off as a genuinely likeable guy. Therefore, I predict this show will last at least another season or so. Star ranking: Ed's Up airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on OLN
