Alluvial Filmworks Launches Ultimate Gay and Lesbian Travel TV Series on DVD in December

Los Angeles, California - October 22, 2007 - Alluvial Filmworks will release the first two DVD editions of Bump!, the world's first and most watched gay and lesbian travel television series, on December 4, 2007 featuring destinations in Mexico and Great Britain. Sexy gay soap star Charlie David leads the tour of the gay side of Mexico and acclaimed lesbian playwright Shannon McDonough shares some of the best Great Britain has to offer lesbians and gays.

Bump! is an international hit in its third season broadcasting in the United States, Canada, Spain, Israel, France and Belgium. Beginning in December, viewers will have the luxury of enjoying the series when they want for entertainment or reference!

bumbdvd In the Mexico edition of Bump! on DVD, Charlie takes viewers on a fun-filled trip through Mexico City, Bump! then says "Hola!" to Puerto Vallarta, the gay paradise on the Mexican Riviera with a trip including a gay beach, an island gay resort, horseback trail rides, gay shopping, popular gay-owned restaurants and a hot dance club. Charlie also visits the luxurious, tropical, gay-friendly destination of Cancun. Beginning at the hottest of gay beaches, he shows viewers exquisite dining, a great spa experience, swimming with the dolphins and more shopping. In each city, Charlie gives viewers a well-rounded tour beginning with informative and enlightening daytime activities and ending up with the best of the local nightlife.

Shannon leads viewers on an incredible trip too in the Great Britain edition of Bump! on DVD. Beginning with the cheerful seaside resort of Brighton, Shannon takes a spin on the carnival rides at the colorful Brighton Pier, does some fun gay shopping, stops at the trendiest eateries, visits a real Graham Norton, Britain's most popular (and gay) talk show host, shares a few words about his favorite gay spots! Viewers learn about Oscar Wilde's meteoric rise and fall in London society, before dropping in at the local gay gym. Shannon also shows great places for the gay traveler to stay and looks at London's gay Mardi Gras. Finally, she ends up bargain hunting at Bermondsey Market. queen's opulent summer palace, and explores the Brighton Museum's exhibit on gay and lesbian history and culture. Manchester teems with gay bars, shops, restaurants, and hotels and Shannon takes it all in. She strolls down festive Canal Street, the heart of the gay village. She also joins thousands at Gayfest, checks out the Mr. Gay U.K. pageant, takes in some history and tours unique gay guesthouses, restaurants, bars, and clubs. No trip to Great Britain is complete without visiting London, and Shannon takes viewers on a tour of this amazing cosmopolitan city crackling with a vibrant queer scene. She trips around town, checking out the major landmarks - Buckingham Palace, Covent Gardens, and Piccadilly Circus, to name a few. She also heads over to Compton Street and Leceister Square on a tour of gay SoHo. Even Graham Norton, Britain's most popular (and gay) talk show host, shares a few words about his favorite gay spots! Charlie David
Charlie David has been a host for E! Television, NBC, OutTV, here! TV, Pink TV, EGO, Fine Living and Life Network on such shows as FYE!, SpyTV, Bump! and Crash Test Mommy. Charlie's writing has been published by National Youth Ambassador, Adventure Women, Outlooks and BoyCrazy! magazines. A celebrated writer in Vancouver, the Cold Reading Series awarded Charlie 'Best Feature Screenplay' for Mulligans and 'Best Short Screenplay' for Narcissus. In 2005, Out Magazine recognized Charlie in their 'Out 100' for outstanding contributions to arts and culture at their gala in New York. Formerly in a rock band, Charlie opened for Destiny's Child, Pink, Snoop Dogg, Rick Springfield and Black Eyed Peas. Shannon McDonough
Shannon McDonough has appeared recently in Regenisis, Angela's Eyes, and commercials for H&R Block, and the Ontario Workplace Safety & Insurance Board as well as the upcoming film Camille staring Sienna Miller, David Carradine and James Franco. Shannon grew up in Toronto and trained with famed comedy troupe The Second City before branching out into television, film and voice work. Shannon is a performer, writer, and producer who devotes her time to seeing the funnier side of life. Her writing debut, the dark comedy Ring - about working in a phone sex office - met with critical acclaim, as did And Every Night's Hot At The Va Va Voom, a brash and sassy musical about lesbian love in a 1940's New Jersey Burlesque house. Her other plays, Talking To Mom in Colour and Southern Belle were audience favorites at The New Ideas Festival at Toronto's Alumnae Theatre.
