Bump! is back for an all-new exciting third season on OUTtv

New international launches of Bump! on VOD and Mobile services and series now available on DVD!


TORONTO (Canada) –– Bump! The world's most watched gay and lesbian travel series and Canada’s most successful gay TV show export co-produced by Peace Point Entertainment Group and Pink Triangle Press launches it’s third season on OUTtv February 12th, with major launch parties, a national contest with a grand prize trip to Miami Beach, as well as international launches on VOD, mobile and DVD.

Bump! Third Season launches on OUTtv on Tuesday, February 12 at 10:00 pm ET / 7:00pm PT and rebroadcasts on Saturdays 10:30pm ET / 7:30pm PT

Media are invited to meet hosts Charlie David and Shannon McDonough at the Bump! launch parties at two of Toronto’s hottest gay and lesbian clubs.

Bump! boxed DVD sets and autographed copies of DJ Peter Rauhofer’s latest hit dance CD "I Love MONTREAL!" will be given away at the launch events along with a trip for two to Miami Beach including flight, hotel and VIP tickets to the legendary Winter Party courtesy of Miami Tourism, Winter Party Festival and Circa 39 Hotel.

Bump! is now available on DVD and is in stores worldwide through Alluvial Filmworks (bumpdvd.com for more info). Bump! has become the gay community’s authority for information on travel and entertainment. Four Bump! DVDs were just released since December with a total of 16 editions to be released by the end of 2008. Each DVD release focuses on a particular geographic region. Bump! DVDs are available at retail stores throughout the world and online including Amazon.com, 10percent.com and NetFlix.com


Additionally, Spain’s ONO cable company has acquired the series for its VOD service. This “Bumps” up the show’s current roster of international networks, which includes here! Networks (U.S.A.), EGO (Israel), and OUTtv (Canada). Europe’s ohm:tv Mobile is airing full episodes of Bump on their Mango mobile TV channel in Austria, available via cell phone and mobile devices.

Hosts Shannon McDonough and Charlie David are back for Season Three with episodes already shot in Denver, Portland, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, and Chicago, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Paraty and Sao Paulo. The remaining episodes of the 3rd season will cover exciting locations such as Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and hot European destinations, including Madrid, Prauge and Budapest.

The show’s website www.bumptv.com includes streaming video clips from selected episodes, and practical travel information. The site is a gay travelers’ companion to the Bump television series, and includes tips on unique things to see, places to eat, shop and have fun, as well as links to gay and gay–friendly attractions, events and accommodations. The website will be continually upgraded and expanded as new Season III episodes go to air on OUTtv.

Charlie David
Charlie David has been a host for E! Television, NBC, OutTV, here! Networks, Pink TV, EGO, Fine Living and Life Network on such shows as FYE!, SpyTV, Bump! and Crash Test Mommy. Charlie’s writing has been published by National Youth Ambassador, Adventure Women, Outlooks and BoyCrazy! magazines. A celebrated writer in Vancouver, the Cold Reading Series awarded Charlie ‘Best Feature Screenplay’ for Mulligans and ‘Best Short Screenplay’ for Narcissus. In 2005 Out Magazine recognized Charlie in their ‘Out 100’ for Outstanding contributions to arts and culture at their gala in New York. Formerly in a rock band, Charlie opened for Destiny’s Child, Pink, Snoop Dogg, Rick Springfield and Black Eyed Peas. Charlie is now focused on film and TV with recent roles in the films, A Four Letter Word and Kiss the Bride, and on ABC’s Ugly Betty, Bravo!’s Godiva’s, Showtime’s Reefer Madness, Movie Central/Movie Channel’s award winning Terminal City and starring in a third season of here! Shannon McDonough
Shannon McDonough is currently a producer on HGTV’s Disaster DIY and has appeared in ReGenesis, Angela's Eyes, and commercials for H&R Block, and the Ontario Workplace Safety & Insurance Board as well as the upcoming film "Camille" staring Sienna Miller, David Carradine and James Franco. Shannon grew up in Toronto and trained with famed comedy troupe The Second City before branching out into television, film and voice work. Shannon is a performer, writer, and producer who devotes her time to seeing the funnier side of life. Her writing debut, the dark comedy Ring—about working in a phone sex office—met with critical acclaim, as did And Every Night’s Hot At The Va Va Voom, a brash and sassy musical about lesbian love in a 1940’s New Jersey Burlesque house. Her other plays, Talking To Mom in Colour and Southern Belle were audience favorites at The New Ideas Festival at Toronto’s Alumnae Theatre.
